Nature, Status & Definitions
This Social Impact & Responsible Innovation Policy (the “Policy”) is a voluntary social-responsibility and concessionary-pricing initiative established and administered by Warke Technologies and Research Private Limited (“Company”, “Warke Technologies”, “we” or “our”). It describes the conditions on which the Company may, but is not required to, provide reduced professional software engineering and product development fees for selected projects having credible public-benefit objectives.
The initiative is a Company-controlled, privately funded commercial programme. It is not a government programme, public benefit entitlement, donation scheme, grant, subsidy, or statutory Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) policy for the purpose of Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013. It does not represent government certification, approval, financing, supervision, or endorsement.
For the purposes of this Policy: “Applicant” means a person or organisation requesting consideration; “Qualifying Project” means a proposed project satisfying the Company’s selection criteria; “Approved Project” means an engagement for which an authorised written concession has been issued; and “Eligible Professional Fees” means only the Company’s own service fees expressly covered by that approval.
Not everyone is eligible. Applying, working in a preferred sector, being a startup or NGO, or meeting an illustrative example does not create any right to receive a waiver.
